Chip Bullock, one of the founders of CCIS, has over 25 years of experience in the IT industry and is CEO. He is responsible for the company's overall strategic direction, including market segmentation, partnerships, alliances and growth strategy. Prior to founding CCIS, Mr. Bullock was President and founder of ObjectIntelligence (later digitalESP), an IT services firm similar to CCIS, where he was responsible for all operations for the company. Earlier in his career, he was Vice President of Information Systems for Watkins, Inc. and Consulting Manager for Analyst International Corporation. Mr. Bullock has been on the board of Directors of the National Association of Computer Consultant Businesses. He has an undergraduate degree from Wake Forest University.
Carol Schwartz co-founded CCIS and serves as the company's President and Chief Financial Officer. Ms. Schwartz has over 12 years of operations and management experience and is responsible for all financial and contracting functions at CCIS. Ms. Schwartz assures the company's financial strength by managing costs, establishing budgets with other members of the management team, and ensuring that expenditures are properly justified and tracked, while maintaining a very positive relationship between the company and its employees. Prior to starting CCIS, Ms. Schwartz was a Program Manager at digitalESP, an IT staffing firm, where she worked with other senior managers to ensure that projects were on-time and on-budget. Earlier in her career, she worked with several other successful start-up businesses, giving her the expertise in the financial and operational discipline necessary to succeed in a services-oriented business.
As Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Bossong is responsible for the company's day-to-day operations and is focused on sustaining the company's growth while continuing to improve the value that we deliver to our clients and keeping the company a great place to work for our employees and an active member of our community. Prior to joining CCIS, Mr. Bossong was a consultant with the Family Business Institute, where he worked with small- and medium-sized business owners in a variety of industries. Earlier in his career, Mr. Bossong worked for seven years at USi, the nation's largest application service provider, where he grew a $10M line of business into a $30M industry leader. His experience also includes five years in commercial and private banking at Wachovia, primarily serving mid-market businesses. Mr. Bossong received his undergraduate degree from Davidson College and earned an MBA from the University of North Carolina's Kenan-Flagler Business School.
Mr. Foster retired from the US Army as a Lieutenant Colonel after a long and distinguished career as an Airborne and Ranger-qualified Infantry officer, holding positions ranging from an infantry platoon leader to a staff officer at US Army Forces Command. Mr. Foster has a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Virginia Tech and over 30 years of combined military and civilian experience. His experience includes an extensive background in business development, program and operations management, and proposal management and preparation in the IT field for federal, military, and commercial enterprises.
Ms. Hartinger is focused on ensuring the company's people resources are well-screened, trained and motivated to carry out our clients’ missions. She is a certified SPHR, Senior Professional of Human Resources, who is an active member of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the Raleigh-Wake Human Resource Management Association (RWHRMA). Ms. Hartinger experience includes positions in GE and Digital Equipment Corporation. Originally from upstate New York, she attended the University of Buffalo.
As Chief Information Officer, Mr. Kellogg is responsible for creating and achieving the overall corporate vision and direction for Enterprise Information Systems. As the CIO he also works closely with the COO and other managerial staff to help shape the overall direction of the company both strategically and operationally at the corporate and project level. Mr. Kellogg received his Computer Information Systems degree from DeVry Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Ga. In the 14 plus years of his professional career, Mr. Kellogg has performed as a software developer and network engineer. He has also served in management roles (Director of Management Information Systems) at prior companies. Mr. Kellogg served 4 years in the US Coast Guard.
Mr. Moye brings over 15 years of professional software engineering and technical management experience to bear in the role of Chief Technology Officer at CCIS. As CTO, Mr. Moye is directly responsible for the company's technical direction. He provides strategic input regarding software and hardware technologies to investigate and adopt, for both production and business reasons. A recognized industry thought leader in software architecture, he has BS and MS degrees in Computer Engineering from Virginia Tech, and is finishing his PhD in Computer Science at North Carolina State. His ability to blend academic theory with industry application helps keep CCIS at the forefront of technology.
Mr. Port oversees new solutions and products developed by CCIS in order to support the most immediate needs of our customers. He brings 10 years of experience in product and project management. Additionally, Mr. Port has over 14 years of service in various active and reserve component army units around the world. Mr. Port holds a BA in Communications and a Juris Doctor.
Mr. Sumner is responsible for the oversight of CCIS’ Project Portfolio and the implementation, maturation and enforcement of Project Management Best Practices. Mr. Sumner possesses a BS in Information Technology as well as a Masters Degree in Business Administration with over 12 years of experience in the Project Management and Business Systems Analyst domains. His background includes extensive experience managing IT Projects using varied methodologies from Waterfall to Agile in the financial, professional services and technology industries.
As the Director of Special Projects, Mr. Szucs has a broad scope of responsibilities to apply his unique combination of technical expertise, domain knowledge, and business insight to support the company's business development efforts, explore new technologies and applications, and provide strategic leadership and advise. Mr. Szucs has nearly 20 years of professional experience in IT solutions development across many disciplines, including development, testing, and project management, and is extraordinarily passionate about the potential of information technology to improve the lives of people in the workplace, on the battlefield, and in the home. Since the Global War on Terror began in late 2001, Mr. Szucs spent much of his time working side-by-side with the warfighters of the XVIII Airborne Corps, 82d Airborne Division, and other units in Afghanistan and Iraq, as well as in garrison, to understand and satisfy their needs for IT solutions and he continues to play a key role in the company's Defense and National Security practice.
